Yesterday night I walked on the Republic Square and saw the Rooks and Crows flushed from the birch-tree and flew out to the darkness. I thought it possible the Owl flushed resting or probably sleeping Crows. Tonight I again saw worrying Crows and then the Long-eared Owl. Owl behaved quite an easy, from time to time flew from place to another one, choosing to perch either the tops of spruce-trees or sticks. All the time Owl stayed the same territory. The city was misty but the weather in the mountains was very sunny. Birds were a bit; three Grey-headed Goldfinches, three Great Tits, one Azure Tit; usually numerous Carrion Crows and Magpies today were in a single number; only one or two second I watched two Crows pursued the little pale raptor (probably Kestrel or Sparrowhawk); on the river I watched White-bellied Dipper; the pair of Cinereous Vultures firstly rounded over the pine grove then flew out to the West.
