Николай Балацкий: Чеглок
Аскар Исабеков: OK, I only confirmed your guess. Darren, you can move this series to the "Buteo rufinus" folder by the "edit" button.
Darren Bell: I did think myself Buteo rufinus. I am very familiar with Buteo Buteo, it is the commonest raptor in the part on England, where l live. This bird did seem to be larger than Buteo buteo.
Аскар Исабеков: Long-legged Buzzard (Buteo rufinus) in my opinion. Dark belly and rufous tinge of all feathers indicate to rufinus. In winter time there are a lot of Eastern Buzzards (B. japonicus and hybrids japonicus x vulpinus) in Almaty vicinity, these birds often [....]
Малик Нукусбеков: Обыкновенный канюк.
Darren Bell: OK Askar, I agree Calidris temminkii. Calidris temminkii, was my second choice. Tibia looked long to me, thank you.
Аскар Исабеков: Calidris temminkii
Darren Bell: Thank you, Askar.
Аскар Исабеков: Agree to you
Darren Bell: Aegypius monachus?
Darren Bell: I agree, Lanius Minor.
Олег Белялов: As it is not called Lanius exubitor pallidirostris, Lanius meridionalis pallidirostris, Lanius lathora pallidirostris - it will still remain Lanius minor
Darren Bell: Thank you Askar for your help. I will look more closely, next time. I have already seen Lanius Minor a few times. And I have seen Lanius Excubitor a few times in England also. This bird did seem to be Larger than other Lanius Minor I have seen. Good [....]
Аскар Исабеков: We consider Steppe Grey Shrike (Lanius pallidirostris) as species (please look here). Foreign researchers use L. (lahtora) pallidirostris or L. (meridionalis) pallidirostris scientific names. But this bird is juvenile Lanius minor of course. [....]
Darren Bell: Surely Lanius Lahtora? It was not on your list.
Аскар Исабеков: juv Lesser Grey Shrike (Lanius minor)
Ясько Анна: Чернолобый сорокопут / Lanius minor.
