    Встав очень рано, на автостопе, с тремя пересадками, я приехал в Жабаглы к Евгению Михайловичу в 10 часов дня.Как раз в тот момент Евгений Михайлович ждал меня.И мы по дороге забрали Эльмиру.И поехали дальше на поиски большой чечевицы на турбазу "Асель". Погода была солнечной, безветренной. Зайдя на турбазу мы увидели много больших чечевиц и стали их наблюдать.Я заметил что чечевицы не так пугливо реагируют на появление людей. По-моему там было около 70-100 чечевичек. В основном там были молодые птицы и самки, а самцов где-то 10%.Теперь я не перепутаю ни один голос птицы с большой чечевицой, потому-что у БЧ очень приятный и звонкий голос. Кроме больших чечевиц,
    я видел еще много разных птиц. Больше всех мне понравилась птица Деряба.

    A rare passage species in Kazakhstan. The most recent photographic record in the country was made on 21 April 2022 in the Suzak District of Turkestan Region (Martin Grienenberger; see the website gallery). In Mangystau Region, only two records supported by photographic evidence are known from recent decades of the 21st century: 20–24 May 2009 in the Kenderli area (Neve et al., 2010) and the present observation.

    The first photo recording of a Northern Bullfinch in Almaty on the website is a rare sighting for a region where they were previously observed during wintering in the mid-20th century and have now become only occasionally encountered.
